About us…

Sun Circle Gardens is the passion project of Danielle Lee and Jodi Sondel. Both creatives and nature lovers, the farm was dreamed up in 2022 and brought to life with the generous help of friends and family. Located on a homestead in Barneveld, WI, we travel back and forth during the short but sweet growing season, gathering the garden’s bounty along the way.

All of our flowers are grown from seed in late winter and early spring in our Madison homes, then planted, tended and harvested by hand while the garden is in bloom. We also have a love for dried florals and host wreath workshops in the fall and winter season, using farm-grown and thoughtfully foraged ingredients in abundance.

On the farm we keep it simple, using cover crops, mulch, and dense plantings. We focus on growing without pesticides or harsh chemicals. Each year we expand our pockets of Native plants, which we incorporate into our floral goods whenever possible. We love witnessing the insects and wildlife these plant varieties invite to the garden. High summer is always a cacophony of wings, buzzing and birdsongs.
